How to Help

Help Care Net Open Urgently Needed Pregnancy Centers

Give urban women real choices

the urban dilemma

In major cities across America, abortion clinics far outnumber pregnancy centers. Inner city women who face unplanned pregnancies are being told every day that abortion is their only realistic choice.

As a result, abortion is having a devastating and disproportionate impact on our minority communities:

  • Although African American and Latina women make up 25% of the female population in the United States, they obtain 52% of all abortions.
  • In some cities, abortions now outnumber live births.

Care Net's urban initiative

Care Net is helping to restore these urban communities by opening new pregnancy centers that offer women positive pregnancy choices. A society that celebrates choice must ensure that all women are offered the help they need to make positive pregnancy choices.

That is why Care Net has launched our Touchdown Cities Project to develop urgently needed pregnancy centers in major cities across America. Care Net is strategically partnering with local groups, churches, and urban ministries to open new pregnancy centers in urban areas where a culture of death that has reigned for many years.

Make a difference in urban communities

We invite you to support these vital efforts. Since 2003, Care Net has helped to open more than 14 new urban pregnancy centers in cities such as:

  • Atlanta
  • Washington D.C.
  • Fort Wayne
  • Jacksonville
